Welcome Sadie!

Welcome to Sadie Woodward, who started this month in Newbury's assistant planner position. She worked most recently as assistant project manager at Hall and Moskow Corp., supporting the company's residential and commercial development work, alongside Newbury resident and business owner David Hall. Sadie is a graduate of Triton High School and Wheaton College, and has a background in environmental sustainability. She previously worked at the Ipswich River Watershed Association as “Climate Policy Specialist”. Since January, Sadie has been working part-time in the town offices, supporting the work of the Newbury Open Space Committee in updating the town's Open Space & Recreation Plan. The Planning Board is thrilled to now have her skills with us on a full-time basis, providing much needed support for the Town's ever-expanding work on long-term planning goals. Please stop by the second floor of the Town offices and say hello to the Planning team anytime. We are always happy to talk with residents and hear any concerns, questions, ideas, or visions for building community and making Newbury an even more wonderful and sustainable place to live!
