Bylaw Amendment Proposal Information
This page provides information on the proposed by-law amendments for the Town of Newbury Wetlands By-law, Chapter 95. Please visit the designated links to access proposed bylaw documents and recorded meetings.
For information on why these amendments are being proposed, the Conservation Commission has developed this document.
For all bylaw amendment update documents, please visit this page.
The Conservation Commission would like to remind residents that no changes will be made to the by-law as it stands for Plum Island. Reasons for this are discussed in the October 25, 2021 meeting of the Commission, linked below. The proposed amendments to the by-law are intended to provide additional protections to our Town's valuable inland wetland resources, and will not impose additional local regulations for work on Plum Island. For any questions regarding the proposed by-law amendments, please contact the Conservation Agent by email at [email protected] or by phone at (978) 465-0862 ext. 310.
