Border to Boston Trail - Georgetown to Byfield segment - Public Hearing May 1

Attention all Newbury outdoor enthusiasts and trail users!
A Design Public Hearing for the Georgetown North / Newbury South segment of the Border to Boston Trail Project will be held on Zoom on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 6:00PM.

More information can be found about the Border to Boston Trail here: https://essexheritage.org/explore/border-to-boston/ It is a 70-mile shared-use trail that links approximately 20 communities from the New Hampshire border to Boston for non-motorized uses including walking, bicycling, and more.
The Design Public Hearing will present the current preliminary design plans for the segment of the trail between Georgetown center and Church Street in Byfield. Construction impacts, environmental permitting, and right-of-way impacts will also be presented. A question and discussion session will be held at the end of the presentation.
