Prescribed Fire for Habitat Management - June 26th, 2025

In cooperation with the DCR Fire Control District 5 and the Newbury Fire Department, MassWildlife is planning to perform a prescribed fire at William Forward WMA in Newbury, MA this Thursday, June 26, 2025. The purpose of the prescribed fire is to improve wildlife habitat, reduce wildfire danger, and provide firefighter training. There may smoke in the area, so please pardon the inconvenience.
