Override Contribution Calculator now available!

An override tax impact calculator is now available courtesy of the Massachusetts Division of Local Services.

To use the calculator via the link below,

Step 1: Select “Newbury” from the municipality drop down menu at the top

Step 2: Enter “400000” in the box marked “Enter Amount to Adjust by”

Step 3: Click the blue “Calculate” button the to left of the Amount Adjustment box

The rates and estimates in the charts below should update the page almost immediately with the new proposed override rates.  To confirm that it worked correctly, the Proposed New Tax Rate Per $1,000 (Estimated New) should read 7.59
