Community Choice Power Supply Program Consumer Notification

February 14, 2025 Newbury residents currently on basic National Grid electric service were sent a Community Choice Power Supply Program Consumer Notification letter including program information, an Important Notice, and a Opt-Out Reply Card.

Upcoming Informational Sessions - Representatives from Colonial Power Group will hosting four informational sessions between now and March 17th, to provide information to Newbury residents about the upcoming Community Choice Power Supply Program and opt-out period.  Colonial Power representatives will be able to answer questions about service options, the opt-out process, what their electric bills will look like after enrolling with the Newbury Municipal Aggregation, and opt-in instructions for residents who are already in third-party supply contracts but wish to join the Newbury Community Choice Power Supply Program.

(2) Community Choice Power Supply Program - Informational Session - at Library, Event Date:  Friday, February 28, 2025 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm

(3) Community Choice Power Supply Program - Informational Session - at Police Department, Event Date: Monday, March 3, 2025 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm

(4) Community Choice Power Supply Program - Informational Session - at the Council on Aging, Event Date:  Monday, March 17, 2025 - 1:00pm to 2:00pm
