How to OPT IN or OPT OUT of Newbury Community Choice Power Supply Program

Newbury residents can opt-in or opt-out of the Newbury Community Choice Power Supply Program at any time, by contacting Colonial Power Group.  To do so, you can:

  1. Call Colonial Power Group at (866) 485-5858 extension #1
  2. Or, go to the Colonial Power Group's Newbury web page (https://colonialpowergroup.com/newbury/) and click the OPT IN/OPT OUT button and fill out the necessary information.Necessary information includes:
  • if you are opting in/out/changing your selection
  • your account type
  • your product selection
  • your 10 digit account number (found on the front of your bill or the first 10 digits on the opt-out card you received)
  • the name on the account
  • the customer name key (it can be found on the second page of your bill in blue left column under the enrollment information section, to the right of the CYCLE number.  It is typically four capital letters which are usually the first four letters of the last name or business name on the bill, but not always.  Please do NOT enter the loadzone.)
  • the service address
  • contact email address
  • contact phone number
