Please join us! Newbury Housing Information Session - Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, 6:30pm - Newbury Town Library Community Room

On Monday evening, January 29th, at 6:30pm at the Newbury Town Library, all residents of Newbury are invited to join staff from the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission and the Newbury Planning Department for an Information Night focused on Housing Initiatives in Newbury. 

The January 29th community event will be an opportunity for residents to learn more about Newbury’s housing needs. Please join us to discuss and provide input on the planning work underway to update the Town's 5-year Housing Production Plan. More information is available here: Housing Production Plan Update.

We'd love to hear from you! What are your ideas for actions Newbury can take to achieve broader "housing choice" and more options for affordable housing in our community? Strategies include but are not limited to the zoning amendments proposed for inclusion on the Warrant for Annual Town Meeting in April, 2024. What are your questions? Do you have friends and family looking for housing in Newbury? What would you like the future to bring? Please join us to provide input and to learn how to get involved in this important work.
