WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS ZONING in NEWBURY
At the March 20, 2024 public hearing, the Planning Board voted to withdraw the proposed amendment to the Wireless Communications by-law, following a request from Triton Regional School District (TRSD) to remove the two Triton parcels on Elm Street from consideration as part of an expanded Wireless Communications Tower District. Both the Board and TRSD feel that it would be appropriate to take time to address questions and concerns that were raised by residents about locating a cell tower on either of these two parcels, in the hope of bringing this forward again next year.
