Newbury Master Plan Survey

Newbury Master Plan Survey

The Town of Newbury is in the process of updating its 2006 Master Plan to address the needs of the Town and shape its character in the coming decade and beyond. The Master Plan provides guidance to citizens and town leaders for decisions regarding Natural Resources/Open Space and Recreation, Economic Development, Housing, Community Facilities and Services, Transportation, Historic and Cultural Resources, and Land Use.   The following survey was prepared by Community Opportunities Group, the consulting firm assisting the Town with the Master Plan update; Martha Taylor, Town Planner; and a group of residents who have volunteered their time to work on this important initiative.

Your input is integral to this process; we appreciate your participation in this survey to let us know what you would like to see in your community.  Please submit your responses by May 27, 2016.  This survey should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. Your answers are anonymous.

To access the survey online, please click here.

Paper copies of the survey are also available and can be picked at the Town Clerk's office, 25 High Road, or at the Newbury Library, 0 Lunt Street, Byfield.  Completed surveys can be dropped off at either location or mailed to Martha Taylor, Town Planner, 25 High Road, Newbury, MA  01951.

If you have any questions about the survey or the Master Plan update or would like to be on the Master Plan contact list, please contact Martha Taylor at planningboard@townofnewbury.org or at 978-465-0862 ext. 312.
