Letter of Support from The Governor's Academy

The Governor's Academy appreciates the excellent working relationship that we have with the town and are grateful for the many benefits the Academy receives as a member of the Newbury community. Our police and fire departments in particular have been outstanding partners for us as we work to educate our students and keep them safe. The vision that you and the town's leadership have developed for a new police station and renovated town hall strikes me as thoughtful and appropriate and the Academy is fully supportive of this undertaking. As you know, the Academy has in recent years worked to identify town needs that cannot be funded through the town's operating budget, and we have made contributions to the town to help fund those projects when we've been in a position to help. As we look to the future, the Academy intends to increase its giving to the town and will designate those increased gifts specifically in support of this important project.

Good luck moving this project forward.
